School district launches online school facilities survey
Nearly 300 members of the public and staff spoke up about Helena Public Schools facilities at a series of eight listening sessions held in November and December. Missed the meetings? It’s not too late to weigh in.

School officials: ACT study shows need to raise graduation requirements
Through an analysis of student performance on the ACT, a librarian at Capital High School has linked higher test scores among CHS and Helena High students to the completion of certain classes.
The achievement gap between students who took three years of math and science versus those who only took two years led district leaders to call for more rigorous graduation requirements.

Helena chamber endorses school district’s facility bond
The Helena Area Chamber of Commerce announced this week it has endorsed the Helena school district’s facility bond set to go before voters in June.
