Helena School Board trustees discuss future needs

A contentious issue gets more complex with each meeting — that’s what Helena School Board Trustees are learning as they consider a bond issue for the elementary school district.

Trustee Aidan Myhre told attendees on Wednesday at the Ray Bjork Learning Center: “There is no perfect plan, there never will be.”

The meeting started off with a cursory overview of the district’s middle school needs.

Trustees were told that both Helena Middle School and CR Anderson require potentially extensive and expensive renovation work.
